Transient as your heart may be home still must have a name your soul, a center to find peace  in the midst of orbit through the turbulence of this world I wonder what hope you find in flight the continual here and there coming and going pushing and pulling leaving and longing the parting, and then the next how do you keep yourself whole in passing, and what is home if it is not a place? I wanted to be gravity, to be constant but us, twilight in transit and you, always crossing stars a sparkle too elusive to align like an enigma shooting through the galaxy tranversing curiosity, I saw you celestial in the constellation of your being do you ever imagine what you must look like  to the stars and the moon the same ones you try to reach the same ones your radiance eclipses and if I could I would give you both but stardust is too mercurial so I hold this space wistful, unrequited as it may be love is still here even if it's not how I dreamed.

The Present is a Gift

" This is the day that the LORD has made;  let us rejoice and be glad in it." - Psalm 118:24 Every day I remember that verse, thanks to a good friend of mine. I used to wake up in the morning and think, "Ah man, another day..." Now I wake up and think, "Man, another day!" There's no such thing as a regular day. Every day is special because God has made it. He planned it out. He blesses us with another day and we can choose to either go through the motions or find joy in it. Of course, not every day is going to be rainbows and sunshine. But I definitely appreciate every one and try to treat it as special. I know I'm living in the Christ and God blesses me abundantly, so I can just rejoice and be glad because I know I have God. The fact that every day is a new day holds more meaning to me. Every morning and every night I ask God to renew me. Just as Jesus said, "Each day has enough trouble of it's own" (Matthew 6:34) . A Little Reflection

" For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do ." - Ephesians 2:10 In the past few weeks God has been revealing so much to me and growing me. At first I was a little overwhelmed but after getting through that phase it was awesome. I'm so joyful and excited about God and everything He's doing. Especially in my life. He's been teaching me a lot about surrendering to Him, His sovereignty, and just following Him the way He calls us to. What I believe He's calling me to right now seems crazy, but then again God is pretty crazy right? In everything, I am confident in God. At the same time, with everything He's throwing at me I still think, "Why me?" It's like Isaiah in chapter 6. I feel like such an unworthy servant, definitely undeserving of Him and His blessings.
